•Adhere to infection control policy
•Manage and support all Anesthesia care patients for adult paediatric and neonatal patients.
•Be professional and airway management of all age groups, including manual, resuscitation and assistance with Intubation
•Can prepare narcotic as per physician order in presence of second witness for dependable double check.
•Work in all areas, assigned, including operating room, intensive care, units, emergency department, general, and Outside operating room.
• Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and end-tidal CO2 levels during procedures
•Assists anaesthetist with starting I.V. infusion. prepares and load anesthetic & all medications for providing anaesthesia for all surgical procedures.
• Identifies the patient and verifies the procedure. Checks the consent and verifies the type of anesthesia.
• Provides safety of the patient when transferring to the OR.
•Washes and sterilizes, reusable equipment and report, malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personal.
•Provides other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
•Performs and documents safety check of anesthesia machines and operating rooms and outside area suite every morning prior to use to ensure that all systems are functional.
