During my internship, I was assigned to two main divisions, namely Electrical and Welder. In the Electrical division, I was involved in the installation and maintenance of ship electrical systems, such as control panels, lighting systems, and cable connections. I also learned how to read wiring diagrams and perform regular checks and repairs on ship electrical systems to support safety and optimal operations. Meanwhile, in the Welding division, I was trained in basic welding techniques, familiarised with types of welding such as SMAW and GMAW, and gained an understanding of quality standards for material joints in ship construction. In addition to technical skills, I also developed communication skills, discipline, and an understanding of the importance of safety and work procedures in a workshop environment. This experience strengthened my understanding of real-world shipbuilding practices and enhanced my readiness to enter the professional workforce in the maritime sector.

VertiCrab is a control system water quality automatically matches the Scylla crab's habitat and can be monitoring via smartphone. This product was created for the community urban areas who want to cultivate crabs with a low risk of death due to enviromental factors, the nature of crab cannibalism, and the risk of death due to crab mobilization.
This product is a combination of IoT technology and an efficient HEPA filter to monitor and filter PM2.5 particulates in the air. It is designed to be easy to install and operate, providing individuals and organizations with easier access to monitor the air quality around them and take necessary actions to keep the air clean.

Mangrove crab farming using Vertical Crab Houses is an alternative method of crab farming for limited land areas to meet urban demand. However, there are still many risks of crab mortality due to the manual process of controlling water quality in the circulation system. This requires additional human labour and time to ensure that the circulating water quality meets the environmental conditions required for mangrove crab growth. Additionally, the Vertical Crab House method cannot accurately identify water quality conditions, cannot monitor water quality in real-time, and cannot simultaneously check temperature, salinity, ammonia, and pH levels. Environmental conditions that do not align with parameters and are not monitored result in a high risk of crab mortality, causing significant losses for farmers. This issue forms the basis for the development of an automated water quality control system to optimise crab farming processes using the Vertical Crab House method. The water quality control process is carried out by installing sensors, controllers, and actuators that are integrated, enabling continuous water quality control to ensure the circulating water meets the optimal environmental conditions for mangrove crab growth. Additionally, the quality of circulating water in the farming process can be monitored in real-time via a smartphone application.
Water security is one of the important aspects of sustainable development. One of the efforts to improve water security is by increasing water use efficiency. There is a reservoir as a water storage facility for the residents of Badu Village, Pucuk Lamongan District. The filling of the reservoir is still done manually, meaning that one resident is responsible for turning on the pump during filling and turning it off when the water overflows from the reservoir. One way to improve water usage efficiency is by implementing an automatic water level control system for the reservoir. The reservoir is also equipped with a safety pump system designed to address excessive flow by shutting off the pump and sounding an alarm and buzzer. Additionally, the system on the tank pump is designed so that the pump can be manually activated under special conditions. This community service initiative aims to improve water usage efficiency for the residents of Dusun Badu, Pucuk Sub-district, Lamongan, through training and the installation of automatic water tank level sensors and safety pumps. This activity was carried out using training and mentoring methods. Water Level Control (WLC) can automatically control the water pump in the water tank. This can improve water usage efficiency and save electricity costs. The training and installation of automatic water tank level sensors can be one of the efforts to enhance water resilience and community well-being in Dusun Badu, Pucuk Sub-district, Lamongan.
