Leading the tech frontier at our company, and reporting to the CTO, I've been deeply involved in several key areas:

  • •Redesigned and prototyped our edge computing CI/CD, establishing a robust framework for deploying across 13 k3s clusters on each of our agricultural sprayers, ensuring efficiency and scalability using Python and Go.
  • •Spearheaded our main CI/CD design, adopting a GitOps approach with Github Actions, FluxCD, and managed Kubernetes on both Azure and GCP, streamlining our development and deployment processes.
  • •Elevated our security posture, setting new standards for infrastructure and code security to preemptively address and neutralize potential threats.
  • •Proactively sought out and developed new technologies, from proof of concepts (PoCs) to fully operational services, to keep our team at the forefront of innovation.

  • •Made provisioning our edge devices as simple as a single/zero touch.
  • •Achieving seamless integration of FluxCD for both cloud and edge computing, enhancing our deployment workflows.
  • •Facilitating Kubernetes upgrades with a single click, significantly reducing complexity and downtime.
  • •Cutting our cloud expenditures by 50%, demonstrating substantial cost efficiency and savings.
  • •Leading efforts on key initiatives such as:
  • •Migrating our code repositories from Bitbucket to Github and our CI/CD processes from Azure DevOps to Github Actions.
