
I am a Biostatistician, Clinical Psychologist and Evidence-Based Health Researcher with three years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments, one year as a lecturer teaching psychology, and more than five years of experience in evidence-based health research, data analysis and meta-analysis. I am confident in teaching epidemiology and statistics in health research. My academic background spans epidemiology, biostatistics, B.Ed and M.Ed with leadership and management, and clinical psychology with international research contributions across LMICs. Skilled in statistical methods using SPSS/STATA/R+ and qualitative tool NVivo, psycho-diagnostics testing, systematic reviews, and scientific writing. Certified in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including meta-analyses and clinical trials. As a Covidence Student Ambassador and member of international psychological associations, I actively contribute to advancing evidence-based healthcare practices in LMICs under NIHR-funded projects. Seeking to utilise my integrated expertise in mental health, biostatistics, and global health to advance evidence-based health research, inform policy makers, strengthen health systems in LMICs, and improve patient outcomes through analytical, data-driven approaches and cross-cultural competence.

In this course, we explored techniques associated with behavioural activation. Which included learning to recognise the behavioural traps that perpetuate depression and how to build up the confidence and motivation to achieve goals aligned with personal values.
