  • Management And Leadership Experience
  • During my FY1 Training period, there were only 3 FY1 doctors for about 100 patients per day in every duty. Both personal and time management were essential to ensure all patients received quality care. Even with these poor staffing ratios, there have not been any mistakes regarding my responsibilities onwards, which is a management experience I will always be proud of.
  • During my final year medical student period in the medical ward, I had to lead five junior medical students for case-based presentations for which I chose a topic about sepsis. I led them all and gave tasks to each including data collection, PowerPoint preparations, and inviting senior specialist doctors and consultants. We finished our case-based presentation successfully and won second prize among 16 groups.
  • I would like to present these experiences as my leadership experience as well as experiences to improve my team spirit.
  • Teaching Experience
  • I notice that I have a keen interest in knowledge sharing in the form of teaching.
  • I used to teach ECG and ABG reading to medical students
  • I have experienced teaching Occupational English Test for my colleagues from Myanmar.
  • I always participate in bedside teaching to my junior medical students
  • I got a certificate for teaching Disaster Prevention, Mitigation, Preparation, Response, Management and Rehabilitation programme in 2017 by Myanmar Ministry of Health
  • Team Work
  • I worked as a surrogate and coordinator for the MRCP PACES exam held at the University Hospital Southampton in January 2023. This experience enabled me to improve my team collaboration, leadership, and event coordination capabilities.
  • In UHS Trauma & Orthopedic Ward, I work in the ortho geriatric team with three Foundation doctors and two GP trainees as a junior doctor team. We get along quite well to each other and always supportive to each other in completing our tasks as well as we did data gathering together for clinical audit regarding Cognitive Assessment in Older People following trauma.
