This project is about moving object detection by using image subtraction method. In order to detect a movement in a video, the video is split into two frames that is reference frame and input frame. The two frames are then compared and differentiated to detect an object moving.

A system is used that can monitor the consumption of electricity as well as the usage of the particular appliance and provide the data to the user on their smartphone in the form of graph on a website, so that they can control and use it in an optimal manner.
