Started out as the Backend engineer, but transitioned to DevOps after seeing the need for one on the team:

    Full Stack Software Engineer

    Full-stack developer in a fleet management and vehicle tracking company:

  • •Introduced a centralized wiki system used by support, technicians, developers in day-to-day work which dramatically decreased of repetitive inquiries.
  • •Participated in migrating the entire infrastructure to a fully containerized Docker infrastructure with an automated deployment process (using Ansible). Migration resulted in a high availability infrastructure that was load balanced among multiple servers via Haproxy.
  • •Implemented and designed security alarming feature that is used in transportation of highly valuable goods.
  • •Migrated the entire application to full HTTPS protocol support as part of the effort to increase application and server security.
  • •Responsible for on-boarding and training new developer hires - educational workshops, system documentation etc.
  • •Designed and implemented various components of the fleet management system which resulted in signing multiple high profile clients.
  • •Part of an on-call support engineering rotation - interaction with support layer and resolving reported bugs.
