Completed a cardiology elective under the mentorship of Dr. Omar Hallak, focused on inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, and management of complex cardiovascular conditions. Actively participated in multidisciplinary teamwork across acute and chronic cardiac settings, contributing to care coordination and pateint managment.
Assisted in daily patient care by taking comprehensive histories, performing physical exams, and formulating management plans. Gained proficiency in writing clinical progress notes on EPIC, presenting cases, and accessing clinical data.
Engaged proactively in ongoing research initiatives within the Thoracic Surgery Division, with an emphasis on esophageal cancer patient outcomes
