Hands-on full-stack .NET software engineer and engineering leader with 20 years of experience. I founded a business early in my career and delivered large-scale contract work; since then, in corporate roles, I've shipped production systems and opened revenue streams that grew into new teams. My hobby projects have reached 500,000+ users. Alongside full-time client delivery, I manage a large engineering unit, head the local .NET competency, and have conducted hundreds of interviews, primarily for .NET and JavaScript roles. Today I build and ship software with AI coding agents while owning architecture, system design, code review, and quality end to end.
Designing and building EPAM's unified AI sales platform, covering the entire business development lifecycle. Next-best-action suggestions, insights, and reporting for every stakeholder, drawn from CRM and Microsoft 365 signals plus half a dozen external research, enrichment, and AI services, learning continuously from feedback.
Leading an engineering organization of up to 40 people, deployed across client engagements, through 5 engineering managers. Responsibilities include staffing, calibration decisions, retention, and compensation planning.
Providing technical leadership across the local .NET discipline (~150 engineers).
- Setting and overseeing engineering standards, advising on promotion cases, defining curriculum, authoring job postings, and liaising with course directors.
- Co-authoring the global .NET competency framework, processes, and course content, applied across EPAM.
Designing and operating agentic SDLC systems ("AI factories") that orchestrate coding agents into automated delivery pipelines, a new EPAM revenue stream. Practicing spec-driven development (SDD) and token economics in daily delivery, systematically refining how spec quality, context management, and agent orchestration drive cost and quality.
Designing and building GenAI POCs and solutions.
- A .NET RAG platform (local embeddings, pgvector search, Claude) that classifies and routes queries across classic and agentic tool-calling retrieval, exposes an MCP server to external agents, and ships with an automated LLM-as-judge evaluation suite, enabling citation-backed answers over confidential documents (e.g., policies, client contracts) with the documents and embeddings never leaving your infrastructure.
- A cross-platform file-system gateway: lightweight hosts on any platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, containers) expose the local FS through Azure, where Foundry-hosted models and the Agent Service operate over the remote files. Hosts authenticate via device-bound keypairs, share only allow-listed directories (read-only by default), and all access, human or AI, uses scoped, revocable credentials.
For a leading European operator, designed and delivered a white-label sportsbook from inception as principal engineer.
- Grew to power 35+ brands, become a B2B offering, and cover the client's entire revenue stream.
- Evolved it from product into platform: a composable frontend for per-brand customization without code, a unified content system replacing several fragmented sources with a single source of truth, and an API-first architecture letting clients build their own frontends on top.
- Established inner-source practices across distributed teams, leading at times two of them.
- Helped set up the client's local entity and engineering operations in Budapest.
Served as line manager for 8-10 engineers deployed across client engagements (including 1:1s, performance reviews, career development planning).
Modernized a legacy stack end-to-end to resolve performance issues, engineer SEO from the ground up, and support a full rebrand, while shipping new features.
- Rebuilt the rendering pipeline.
- Engineered a redirect layer to preserve legacy rankings.
- Validated through Lighthouse and Search Console.
Alongside full-time client delivery, provided hands-on technical leadership for a rotating team of up to 5 engineers staffed between client engagements.
- Owned the roadmap and delivery of an internal portfolio of up to 6 products.
- Built systems supporting core organizational needs, including time-slot reservations for internal services, an interactive office floor-plan system, and a real-time cinema-booking system for internal gatherings.
Led post-acquisition integration of a product onto our platform, consolidating legacy systems and migrating all users without disruption, delivered through close collaboration including on-site work.
For a major European low-cost airline, developed new features and refactored existing systems.
- Delivered self-initiated POCs that won client buy-in, establishing a dedicated 4-engineer team for EPAM.
- Earned the client an Innovation Award (CIO Awards) with the resulting solution.
Built and delivered custom software under contract, covering the entire SDLC and contract negotiations.
- Flagship product: a financial planner for the companies and holdings of the Municipality of Budapest, used at its peak by 20 large municipal institutions.
- Delivered other smaller systems, including a community service support system and one serving all of the city's museums.
Designed and delivered an online class register extending the school management ERP, end to end as sole engineer. Over 40 schools relied on it daily, serving tens of thousands of users.
Built a school management system for daycares, schools, and their owners: a unified ERP intended for use across every institution in Budapest.
- A 2-engineer partnership owning the entire spectrum: architecture, development, delivery pipelines, recovery plans, and user and license management.
- Over 160 schools ultimately adopted it as their primary system.
- Engineered custom-made solutions including an in-memory database with its own metadata language and tooling, and user-definable no-code queries.
- The system's core proved durable enough to later power WS-Dev's products.
